There are a few reasons why you might have trouble installing the Zip Payments App on your Shopify store.
Before installing, make sure the following settings are correct in your Shopify account.
1. Your store currency must match the Zip gateway region: Your default store currency must match the region of the Zip Payment App you’re trying to install.
For example:
If you’re an Australian business selling in Australian dollars (AUD), you must install the AU Zip Payment Gateway and set your default currency to AUD.
2. Your store address must match the Zip gateway region: Your default store address must also match the region of the Zip Payment App.
For example:
If your business is based in Australia, you need to install the AU Zip Payment Gateway and set your store address to a valid Australian address.
3. You must use the correct API keys: If you’re experiencing issues entering your API keys in the Zip settings page, check that the keys match the environment you’ve selected.
For example, if 'Production' mode is selected, you must use your production (live) API keys from your live Zip Merchant Dashboard. If 'Sandbox' has been selected, you must be using your sandbox (test) API keys from the Demo Zip Merchant Dashboard.
Tip:
If you’ve confirmed all of the above and still can’t install the app, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser before reinstalling.
If the issue continues, please contact the Zip Merchant Experience Team for further assistance.
