If your e-commerce platform or POS system doesn’t have a direct Zip integration, you can still offer Zip to your customers. There are a few options available depending on how you sell.
E-commerce
If your online store platform doesn’t have a Zip integration at checkout, you can build a custom integration using our Web Checkouts API.
This option requires a web developer or agency and must be certified by our Integration Team.
Integrating Zip via the Web Checkouts API involves five key steps:
Scope the development work
Begin development
Testing and error handling
Certification
Go live.
Please share our API documentation with your web team to confirm if this option works for your business.
Instore (POS)
If your POS system doesn’t directly integrate with Zip, you can still offer Zip as a payment option instore.
You can:
Build a custom integration using our Instore API, or
Use the Zip Merchant Dashboard to manually create and send orders to customers.
A custom POS integration also follows five key steps:
Scope the development work
Begin development
Testing and error handling
Certification
